Illuminating Milan Design Week
Considered one of the most anticipated events in the industry, Milan Design Week was held from June 7 to 12. Under a vibrant atmosphere, the Italian city brought together a host of professionals and enthusiasts of the sector offering talks, events and a wide range of exhibitions.
XTONE, together with its Altissima line of natural stone products, demonstrated the possibilities offered by the material in any of its different applications (flooring, cladding, countertops or furniture) at two of the exhibitions, Eurocucina and Fuorisalone, at the Salone del Mobile.Milano.
More innovative and sustainable collections mark the line of the proposals in countertops and coverings presented by XTONE for the new PORCELANOSA Grupo kitchens, which are accompanied by the sintered mineral compact, providing high quality and visual aesthetics, as well as excellent performance for this room in the home.
The Spanish multinational exhibited different kitchen environments, in which infinite countertops and furniture customization with XTONE became the center of attention with collections such as Marquina Black, capable of reproducing the intensity of black marble, or Invisible White, which reflects the purity of white marble.
An edition that not only hosted exhibitions at the Fiera Milano Rho center, but also in the galleries and stores of Milan that opened their doors to showcase the possibilities in furniture for Fuorisalone.
Porcelanosa highlighted avant-garde design, new architecture and artistic experimentation through ''Light: Battle Between Space and Time'', an exhibition that highlighted the importance of light on space and color.
Roberto Bellantoni was in charge of giving voice to the exhibition. The Italian architect and interior designer presented an exclusive collection of lamps characterized by a unique and unrepeatable design through Altissima's Pangea natural stone collection.
In addition, during the week, the possibility of combining textures from the different PORCELANOSA Grupo firms was recalled through a Moodboards workshop, where professionals and lovers of architecture and interior design were able to develop their creative talent and teamwork skills.
A meeting with an award, since the best proposal was awarded with one of the lamps exhibited by Bellantoni.
