XTONE, partner once again of Raíz Culinaria

Cuenca hosted the long-awaited fifth edition of the Culinaria Congress on October 23 and 24, featuring a program filled with activities centered around the local gastronomy and dining scene, as well as the participation of renowned national chefs.

The event, organized by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, the Diputación de Cuenca, the City Council of Cuenca, and the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism of Cuenca, is conceived as a showcase of regional gastronomy aimed at the participation and enjoyment of the local citizens or anyone from elsewhere who wishes to spend a few days savoring the preparation and tasting of some of the most representative dishes of Castilla-La Mancha's gastronomy.

In this edition, the organization once again collaborated with XTONE, which, as a partner, provided a movable kitchen island made with the Calatorao material, one of the latest innovations from the company, where all culinary preparations were made.

Two intense days were filled with various activities such as gastronomic workshops, presentations, and Showcooking by renowned chefs like Jesús Sánchez from Cenador de Amós or Carme Ruscadella from Moments and Cuina San Pau in Barcelona.

All the chefs had the opportunity to experience the qualities of sintered stone during cooking, as well as the revolutionary hidden induction system integrated into the island's surface, equipped with the innovative dual technology. It was a complete gastronomic experience where they firsthand discovered the performance and characteristics of the material.

The central theme was the 'Gastro Catwalk,' a showcase where five restaurateurs, each from one of the provinces of the region, presented, prepared, and served a tapa in front of a panel of excellence. The participants included Piola Gastrobar from Cuenca, Dallas from Albacete, Taberna El Botero from Toledo, Dama Juana from Guadalajara, and El Señor Pérez from Ciudad Real.

These days were a fusion of design, innovation, and gastronomy to enhance the fifth edition of the Culinaria Congress. Once again, the event resulted in overwhelming success among attendees, speakers, and participants, thanks to the collaboration with XTONE.
