XTONE and Cenador de Amós: sustainable gastronomy

One of the main values of Cenador de Amós from the beginning has been to carry out interior design work that is responsible with the surroundings, people and the environment.

When selecting pieces, in addition to their beauty, the Cenador is demanding that their manufacture is respectful with the environment.

Thus, Cenador de Amós takes another step forward in its commitment to promote sustainability by embarking on a collaboration with XTONE. The Porcelanosa Group firm will dress each of the rooms of one of the most beautiful restaurants in Spain, being an 18th century palace house, in its new opening in 2022 with an exclusive and personalised selection of different tables.

The pieces, inspired by the most beautiful marble, will form part of the garden, the cosy living room with fireplace and the dining room of this gastronomic temple. Creativity, design and innovation for a total, committed and sustainable experience.

After receiving the greenest award, the Green Star from the Michelin Guide, Cenador de Amós continues to work under the criteria of sustainability and health, committed to local produce and pursuing greater energy efficiency.

Thus, XTONE's designs reinforce the philosophy that the restaurant maintains in its concern and respect for the environment, also betting on sustainable development in its processes of creating the final product.

So both will work on the same project, offering a totally sustainable service and experience through haute cuisine and avant-garde design.

Responsibility and safer spaces.

A project with the same mission; hygienisation in the presentation and tasting of the haute cuisine of the three Michelin starred chef and 3 Repsol Suns through avant-garde and innovative pieces.

The project undertaken by Jesús Sánchez and XTONE, under the support of PORCELANOSA Grupo, looks forward to a transcendental trajectory thanks to the sustainable, innovative and creative experience offered by the restaurant together with the large format surfaces.

This alliance presents a series of initiatives which, as well as being sustainable, are concerned about the environment and the care and hygiene of the diners who visit the restaurant. Thanks to extensive research, XTONE presents new work systems and aseptic materials to create safer and healthier spaces that are free of infection and contamination.

The pieces present a series of advantages that allow food to be handled and enjoyed, leaving aside all possible concerns regarding external agents, such as fungi and bacteria. This is even more important if we take into account the health emergency we have experienced due to the coronavirus, especially in the hotel and catering sector.

Thanks to the low porosity of the surfaces, the hygiene and safety of this gastronomic experience is increased. In addition, they contain up to 40% recycled raw materials and are characterised by their antibacterial and hygienic properties that do not release volatile organic compounds.

In short, living a carefree gastronomic experience is a challenge that both brands have managed to overcome by combining their strengths in a single project, which can be enjoyed at the Cenador de Amós restaurant from 10 March 2022.
