Succes at the XI Casa Decor awards
Last Wednesday May 24th the XI Casa Decor Awards took place at the Official College of Architects of Madrid. The gala began with a few words from Alicia García Cabrera, director of Casa Decor, and Kersti Urvois, president, who straightaway gave the awards of the 58th Edition of this spectacular interior design and decoration showcase. For the first time in the event’s history, a space is awarded twice. Wonder Chamber, space DELAMORA by VONNA, was awarded as the Most Voted by the public and received the First Honourable Mention for Best Project.
The cabinet of curiosities of VONNA Estudio has fulfilled its mission, making the visitor and all the people who have been part of this great project feel like traveling towards a world of personal dreams and obsessions captured through the harmony of its materials. Wonder Chamber has been a starting point towards a new scenario where each of the elements of the space is perfectly integrated, complimenting each another, turning the combination into a whole. In the same way, XTONE, VONNA and DELAMORA has formed a team in which success lies in the fusion between the great abilities and strong points of each of the parts that make it up. These recognitions are therefore the result of united, enthusiastic and synchronised work; a fantasy that would not have been possible without either part.
In this first year at Casa Decor, XTONE has been consolidated in the world of interior design strengthening itself as the best option for any innovative and original project that requires total disposition. In that case, the clearest example has been the porcelain Tura, a bespoke design created for the space, reflecting the essence of Wonder Chamber to the fullest, through digitalised fossils that imitate the peculiar treasures of the cabinets of curiosities. An extraordinary piece that joins the incomparable beauty of the natural stone that rises around the space. A clear sample of the endless potential of XTONE.
After six weeks of frenetic pace, intense work and overwhelming success, Casa Décor 2023 closes its doors and with that, Wonder Chamber, leaving the wings of wonders to VONNA, DELAMORA and XTONE to continue fulfilling dreams.
